We have had great fun traveling to shows around Southern California, but showing is not for everyone. You can also participate in obedience, agility, search and rescue or many other activities with your IW, even therapy! My favorite is Lure Coursing, more on that later. (There is a great article on Dixie's web-site about coursing...) All our hounds are "House hounds" and we would not have it any other way!
Trisha is the real pro when it comes to handling but every
once in awhile I put on my khaki's and give it a shot. Family fun for sure! |
